Matthew Teague, President

Matt joined the REEF team in 2007 as a project manager and has been in the construction and engineering field for the last 15 years.
Matt is a 1997 Graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, NY with a degree in civil engineering. After serving as an officer in the US Army Corps of Engineers at Ft. Carson, CO and Ft. Leonard Wood, MO, Matt returned to Massachusetts 2000 to work as a project manager for William A. Berry & Son Inc, for institutional clients such as Forest City Development, Cereon Genomics, and Brandeis University. In 2002, Matt returned to his roots on Cape Cod, settling in the town of Barnstable with his family.
With diverse experience in both the construction and engineering industries, Matt has found his niche in the residential custom building and development field. In 2011, Matt became of President of REEF, offering a seamless transition of leadership in continuing REEF’s culture of providing exceptional quality and service. Outside of work, Matt has remained dedicated to the community, serving as a member and Chairman of the Barnstable Planning Board for the last 3 years.
James Hagerty, Vice President

With 20 years of industry experience, Jim has an in-depth understanding of managing the pre-construction process, including architectural and site design, permitting requirements and project estimating. Through his work experience and memberships with the local and National Home Builder’s Associations, he has built a strong rapport with professionals in the building industry, including civil and structural engineers, CAD operators, vendors and suppliers. As a Certified Green Professional, Jim drives the companies green initiatives to provide efficient and environmentally responsible housing.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Environmental Design from Syracuse University. Prior to moving to Cape Cod and joining REEF, Jim gained 15 years of experience in the residential design/build industry in project management roles with small and mid-sized companies in the Boston area. This experience afforded him a wide range of design and construction skills focusing on custom single-family homes and condominiums from 1,500 to 5,000 square feet.
In 2011, Jim assumed the position of Vice President / Co-Owner of REEF. In this role, Jim continues REEF’s mission to produce quality homes on time and on budget. He oversees the pre-construction process leading clients through the complex design and permitting process.
Jim lives on Cape Cod with his family, enjoys spending time at the beach with his children and being involved with local youth sports.
Everett Boy, Founder & Director of Sales

Everett was raised in Yarmouth, attended the Dennis-Yarmouth Schools, and has remained a life-long resident of the Cape. Everett started in the construction and real estate business 1978, and founded REEF in 1985. Having completed over 1000 successful projects, Everett has maintained an emphasis on sales, marketing, and quality customer service over his 34 year career. He has a unique perspective on how to help customers meet their construction and design needs.
